Over 70 Gul Bahadur Terrorist Killed in Pakistan’s Targeted Strike in Afghanistan

More than 70 foreign terrorist were killed in a precise strike on the hideouts of the Gul Bahadur group in Afghanistan’s Paktika region on the night of 17 October, according to security sources.

The Gul Bahadur militant group has been involved in several major terrorist attacks inside Pakistan. Security officials said these militants had been crossing over from Afghanistan to carry out attacks in Pakistan.

On October 17, the same group attempted a failed VBIED (Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Device) attack in Khadi, North Waziristan. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of three women, two children, and one soldier.

Among those killed in the confirmed strikes was the key militant commander Farman, also known as Al-Karama. Other slain militants include Siddiqullah Dawar, Ghazi Madakhel, Muqarab, and Qismatullah.

In addition, top commanders Gulab alias Dewana, Rahmani, Adil, and Fazlur Rehman were also killed.

According to security officials, the militant Fazlur Rehman was a close relative of Gul Bahadur. Militants Ashiqullah alias Kausar and Yunus were also killed in the strike.
