Yasir Hussain leaves Defence area for his son’s upbringing

Pakistani host and director Yasir Hussain revealed he relocated from the upscale Defence area primarily for his son, Kabir.

Speaking in a recent interview, Yasir Hussain explained that the highly secured environment of their previous neighborhood was the issue. “When we lived in Defence, the other children were always traveling with gunmen and guards,” he noted, highlighting the detachment.

Yasir Hussain said his son, Kabir, is “old-fashioned” and prefers traditional, outdoor play like digging in the dirt, building with sand, and playing in the street, reminiscent of Hussain’s own childhood.

The move proved worthwhile, allowing Kabir to easily socialize; children now come to their home, and Kabir visits his new friends’ houses.

Yasir Hussain added he even purchased a small pool that the neighborhood children often use together with Kabir.
