Gold rates in Pakistan today

After a brief rise, gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply on Wednesday due to changes in international rates.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs1,000 to Rs419,362 per tola.

In the local market, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs857 to Rs359,535, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs678 to Rs329,585, as per the APGJSA.

In the global market, gold prices also went down by $10 to $3,970 per ounce. This decline was mainly due to the strengthening of major currencies and a cautious approach by investors.
