Pakistan, Saudi Arabia finalize agreement for Hajj 2026 arrangements
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have formally signed an agreement outlining administrative arrangements and facilities for Hajj 2026.
The agreement was signed by Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister of Hajj, Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Suleiman, and Pakistan’s Secretary for Religious Affairs, Atta-ur-Rehman.
The signing ceremony was attended by Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, Director General Hajj Jeddah Abdul Wahab Soomro, Director Hajj Makkah Azizullah Khan, Director Hajj Madinah Zia-ur-Rehman, Deputy Secretary Hajj Policy Chaudhry Kashif Hussain, and other senior officials.
Secretary Religious Affairs Atta-ur-Rehman thanked the Saudi authorities for their hospitality and cooperation, noting that, as in previous years, Pakistani pilgrims will be provided with high-quality facilities during Hajj 2026.
