Hong Kong: Pakistan clinched the Hong Kong Sixes Cup after defeating Kuwait in the final with an impressive performance.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 135 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the allotted 6 overs. Captain Abbas Afridi led the charge with 52 runs, supported by Abdul Samad’s 42 and Khawaja Nafees’ 22.

Chasing the target, Kuwait managed 92 runs and were dismissed on the first ball of the final over, handing Pakistan a convincing victory.

Earlier, Hong Kong: In a nail-biting semi-final of the Hong Kong Sixes tournament, Pakistan defeated Australia by just one run to secure a place in the final.

Batting first, Pakistan scored 121 runs in 6 overs. Australia managed 120 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their 6 overs, falling short by a single run.

Khawaja Nafay was named Player of the Match for his explosive innings, scoring 50 runs off 14 balls before retiring hurt. From Pakistan, Shahid Aziz, Abbas Afridi, and Mohammad Shehzad claimed one wicket each.

In the other semi-final, Kuwait defeated England by 37 runs to advance to the final. Kuwait posted 142 runs in the allotted overs, while England could only manage 105 runs in 6 overs.
