
Naval chief meets Oman’s Army Chief in Islamabad

Chief of Staff of Sultanate of Oman Lieutenant General Ahmed Bin Harith called on Pakistan’s Naval Chief Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi.
The Omani Chief was visited the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad today.
According to details, the two sides discussed matters of mutual interests including regional peace and security.
Pakistan’s Naval Chief highlighted efforts made by his Navy to maintain regional especially the maritime security.
Lieutenant General Harith lauded strong bond that Pakistan and Oman’s navy shares.
The Chief of Staff of Oman was also presented with guard of honor earlier on arrival at the General Headquarters.
Earlier, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi meets Williem Wouter Plomp, Netherlands Ambassador to Pakistan.
Naval Chief meets the ambassador at naval headquarters, spokesperson said.
The meeting between the two leaders discussed in detail the professional issues and mutual defense partnerships.
According to Pak-Navy spokesperson, the Naval Chief highlights the role of Pak Navy in relation to peace in the region.
Netherlands Ambassador praises Pak Navy’s role in ensuring peace and stability in the region.
Earlier on Monday, Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul called on Naval Chief Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi at Naval Headquarters in Islamabad.
