Army Chief’s 6 month extension simply means 3 years: Sheikh Rasheed

Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed on Saturday said that extending the service extension of General Qamar Javed Bajwa for six months, means that he has now three years and we also have.

While talking to media at the Railway Headquarters he said that extending the tenure of Army Chief with a simple majority of parliament is easily possible; all parties agree on this and if not, the parliament will allow the extension.

Sheikh Rasheed said that the situation in the opposition is normal and it has nothing remain to say.

He said that a Mafia leader wants to stabilize Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government and an unsuccessful attempt has been made to save the country.

The Minister said that the Army Chief is with the government for the success of democracy.

Sheikh Rasheed said that he heard the screams from Sindh but remember Imran Khan would not give any NRO.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman has been given open freedom, he continued March on every Friday and would soon say that he had gone empty-handed from Islamabad, said Sheikh Rasheed.

He further claimed that by March 2020, former President Asif Ali Zardari’s case will be resolved.

Reacting to the changes of the Punjab cabinet, he said that the Prime Minister Imran Khan was not satisfied over the performance of the cabinet.
