
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says our capacity to deal with the global pandemic of coronavirus is gradually increasing.
Radio Pakistan reported that Shah Mahmood Qureshi was chairing a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on Monday to deal with the challenge of coronavirus.
He said National Coordination Committee meeting chaired by Prime Minister held deliberations on this important issue.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said ban on incoming international flights was imposed to stop the possible arrival of coronavirus into Pakistan.
He said the meeting of NCC also held consultation on next course of action following the rehabilitation of international flights to Pakistan after 4th of next month.
Moreover The meeting reviewed various aspects of repatriating Pakistanis stranded in various countries.
Furthermore Special Assistant on Health Dr. Zafar Mirza briefed the meeting on nature and risk assessment of spread of coronavirus in Pakistan.
