President Dr Arif Alavi, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Federal Minister for Planning Asad Omar and 18 members of the official Pakistani delegation had received COVID-19 tests, and the results of all tests of every member are negative.

According to the details, President Arif Alvi, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, and Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar visited china with the delegation.

During the 2 day official visit President Arif Alvi met his counterpart Xi Jinping, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, and other senior officials.

Earlier today, Foreign office has announced that the top Pakistani diplomat had gone into self-quarantine as precautionary measure on return from China.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that he will be going into self-quarantine for five days. He urged the media to play its due role in public awareness.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi further said that said the Chinese leadership has lauded Pakistan’s decision of not evacuating its students from China.

It is to be noted that, Pakistan has reported its first coronavirus death in Hayatabd medical complex, Peshawar on Monday.

The patient was admitted to Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC) last night. The patient, 31, was reported to travel from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan.

According to the details, Provincial health minister Taimur Khan Jhagra also shared this sad news on Twitter.

The sources also said, The patient belonged to Hangu. However, he was brought to hospital in a serious condition.
Another suspected case, Tahir, aged 24 was also admitted to HMC. Doctors revealed that Tahir is now in stable condition.

COVID-19 was not “real cause” of person’s death in GB

Earlier today, the death has been reported in CMH Hospital, Gilgit Baltistan.

The sources said that the person was diagnosed of coronavirus but the reason of his death was not COVID-19.

The victim was 90-years-old and was a resident of Chillas. The deceased was admitted in CMH Hospital, Gilgit for the past four days and had coronavirus symptoms. The G-B government spokesman said the victim was suffering from pneumonia and fever.
