The government has launched a website for Pakistanis stranded in abroad.

Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development stated in a Tweet that the flight schedule is now available at http://covid.gov.pk and the information can be obtained by clicking Air Travel.

The website contains government guidelines and policies for Pakistanis trapped abroad.

Today, Special PIA relief flight PK8749 carrying more than 300 passengers from Pakistan departed for France and a relief flight operated by Pakistan International Airlines departed from Jakarta for Karachi with 219 Pakistani passengers that were stranded in Indonesia.

Earlir on Thursday, Pakistan Foreign Office has confirmed that 41 Pakistanis stranded in India will be returning back to the country.

Foreign Office spokesperson Aisha Farooqui says “”We remain engaged for the safe and early repatriation of all Pakistanis stranded in India.”

267 Pakistani nationals stranded in Japan & Thailand due to coronavirus have also been repatriated via Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight.

Foreign office spokesperson Dr Aisha Farooqui stated that Pakistan Embassies in Tokyo and Bangkok in coordination with governments of Japan & Thailand facilitated repatriation of citizens of Pakistan.
