Pakistan International Airline’s (PIA) first special flight, carrying 200 countrymen from US has departed for Pakistan today.

The national carrier continues special flight operations to bring back stranded Pakistanis back to their country.

According to the flight schedule, another PIA flight will bring back 150 Pakistani students back to their homeland tomorrow. Asad Amjad, Pakistani envoy in the United States, over-viewed all necessary arrangements at the airport.

Earlier, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was allowed to operate direct flights to the United States (US) to bring back stuck Pakistani citizens.

Moreover, PIA operated four flights from Lahore as the national carrier continues its relief flight operation following Coronavirus outbreak.

According to the details, PIA’s PK-757, carried the British national and left for London from Lahore, whereas, it brought around 200 stranded Pakistanis all the way from London to Lahore.

The special flight PK-203 on May 8 left for Dubai to bring back stranded Pakistani nationals.

Moreover, two empty PIA planes left from Lahore to Dubai and brought 400 struck Pakistanis back to Faisalabad.
