Sindh education minister Saeed Ghani said that the Sindh government has decided to promote students of Grade 1-8 on the basis of their previous results.
“In case, it is just one or two subjects students have failed, schools will be allowed to take their exam in that particular subject and let them pass,” Sindh education minister Saeed Ghani said in a press conference. Saeed Ghani has said that schools in the province will not be opened from June 1, as opposed to the provincial government’s earlier announcements. Federal government’s decision to promote students of Grades 9-12 had some complications, which were also acknowledged by the Centre.
