
Sindh will observed strict lockdown on Friday (today) from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm in order to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. Strict measures will be maintained all over Sindh in the three-hour lockdown as informed by Murtaza Wahab spokesperson of the Sindh government.
All unnecessary movements, public gatherings, or religious gatherings will be prohibited throughout the lockdown. The (Standard operating procedures) SOP’s will be implemented by the provincial authorities already planned based on the decision taken for post-May 9th strategy.
The total death toll has risen up to 171 as 14 new cases were recorded in Sindh as confirmed by Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister Sindh. He said that 14 new deaths have been reported in the last twenty-four hours which took the death toll to 171.
On Thursday, 453 more people were diagnosed with Coronavirus in Sindh. Now the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has reached up to 9,093 in Sindh. In Sindh, up till now 76,078 tests have been carried out. The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan rose to 25,837 on Friday after new infections were confirmed in the country.
