The Supreme Court of Pakistan has issued a 15-day report on pending cases.

As per details, The Supreme Court has issued a 15-day report on pending cases. The number of pending cases in the Supreme Court has been increased to 44,000. The number of pending cases in the Supreme Court has reached 44,658. As of May 1, the number of pending cases was 44,462.

According to the report From May 1 to May 15, 366 cases were disposed of and 562 were registered.

Let it be known that the rising number of novel coronavirus in the country, resulting in lockdown has also affected the court proceeding as well.

The number of novel coronavirus infections in Pakistan has passed the tally of 50, 000 with 1067 deaths. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa leads the tally in the country with the highest number of deaths 365, followed by Sindh 336. Punjab has reported 310 deaths, Balochistan 39, Islamabad 12, four in Gilgit-Baltistan and one in AJK.

According to the national dashboard, 1,073 new cases were recorded in Punjab, 91 new cases were recorded in Islamabad, while 10 new cases were reported in AJK.
