Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the price of petrol here is the lowest in our country as compared to South Asia.

According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan said in a message on social networking site, Twitter on the reduction in prices of petroleum products that we have further reduced the prices of petrol, light diesel and kerosene oil.

In his message, Imran Khan said that Pakistan is the country that sells petrol at the lowest price in South Asia.

Prime Minister Imran Khan further said that the prices of petroleum products in India are double that of Pakistan while the prices of petroleum products in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal are 50 to 75 percent higher than in Pakistan.

Earlier, the government announced a sharp reduction in the prices of petroleum products.

A statement issued by the Finance Ministry said that the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 7.6 per liter.

A statement from the Finance Ministry said that the price of diesel has been increased by 5 paisa per liter while the price of kerosene has been reduced by 11 rupees 88 paisa.

The statement from the Ministry of Finance further said that the price of light diesel has been reduced by Rs 9.37 and the new prices will be applicable from 12 am tonight.
