Unannounced load shedding continues in Karachi

The unannounced worst load shedding in different residential areas of Karachi has made the lives of the citizens miserable.

According to the details, unannounced load shedding of Electric is also taking place on Sunday.

Electricity supply was suspended in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 13D-1, Hassan Square and various other areas.

Affected citizens said that prolonged unannounced load shedding has become a norm and despite several complaints, the lights have not been on till now.

Earlier, referring to the long-running announced and unannounced load shedding in the country, the spokesman said that regional faults and technical faults should not be compared to load shedding.

A spokesman of Electric added that complaints of faults were more common in areas with power theft and losses. Regional faults and technical glitches should not be compared to load shedding. Staff are available 24 hours a day to correct local faults.
