PM Imran Khan telephoned co-founder of Microsoft Corporation Bill Gates on Tuesday (Aug 11).

According to the details, Prime Minister Imran Khan had a conversation with Bill gates on a telephone call. He discusses the latest situation related to the polio campaign in Pakistan.

The Prime Minister apprised Mr. Bill Gates of the improved situation of COVID-19 in Pakistan.

He also told, the government’s “smart lockdown” policy has proved very effective during the pandemic.

Timely effective strategies have helped reduce Corona’s impact on health and the economy, the prime minister said.

He alos said that the Bill Gates Foundation’s cooperation during the Corona epidemic helped Pakistan.

During the conversation Mr. Bill Gates said, The resumption of the polio eradication campaign is encouraging.

He added that proper precautions will be taken to avoid Corona during the campaign.
