The Sindh health department said on Saturday that dengue cases in Karachi are increasing as 480 new cases were reported in the past month alone.
According to the report provided by the health department, 222 cases were reported in the East district of Karachi. Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Jamshed Town being the most dengue affected areas in Karachi.

Cases reported this year — 1,149
112 cases were registered from District Central, with Gulberg and North Nazimabad with the most number of patients revealed the report.
District South, Korangi, Malir, and West have reported 66, 36, 25, and 19 cases respectively.
Sindh’s health department further reported that for this year, Karachi has reported 1,149 dengue cases.
