Sharif family committed corruption in the guise of business says Shahzad Akbar

Adviser to Prime Minister on Accountability and Interior Barrister Mirza Shahzad Akbar has said that the government has collected solid evidence against Sharif family for committing corruption of billions of Rupees.

Shahzad Akbar was addressing a press conference in the federal capital Islamabad.

He said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has received another corruption reference against the Sharif family. He added that a reference of assets worth Rs. 7 billion has been filed in NAB  against the Sharif family and they will have nothing to say in defense.

Shahzad Akbar said that fake accounts were created and remittances were made in the name of low-paid employees while fake companies were also created in the name of employees and anonymous people.

He added that the Sharif family used to do corruption in the guise of business.
