Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has visited Frontier Works Organisation
(FWO) Headquarters.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the FWO Headquarters where Engineer-in-Chief Lt. Gen. Moazzam Ijaz, Director General Frontier, visited the FWO Headquarters.
Works Organization Major General Kamal Azfar received the Army Chief.
The ISPR spokesperson said that during the visit, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa was briefed on the development projects of FWO on which the Army Chief directed timely completion of projects of national importance.
The ISPR spokesperson also said that the Army Chief appreciated the efforts made for capacity building for megaprojects while appreciating the initiatives of public-private partnership.
On the occasion, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa expressed satisfaction over the progress of development projects under construction and said that the private sector must cooperate in the national interest as much as possible.
