Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief said that the 11-party Opposition will hold more rallies in different parts of the country.
While speaking to the media on Sunday in Islamabad following a meeting between PDM leaders said Pakistan’s political situation was deliberated upon and also discussed the ‘most urgent issue’ of the country’s economic crisis.
The JUI-F chairman told the media that many Opposition leaders attended the meeting, while representatives were also present. Asif Ali Zardari, President of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) also attended the meeting via video-link.
“A person is no longer able to lead a dignified life in Pakistan,” said the PDM chief.
He further said,
“PDM has decided to take our movement forward and a schedule for more rallies in the various cities of Pakistan was discussed.”
Fazlur Rehman also said that PDM has decided to draft an agreement and will meet on November 13, where all the Opposition parties would bring their recommendations forward.
“Through the parties’ recommendations, a mutual agreement will be made,” he said.
