The Sindh government has declared December 25 and 27 a public holiday in the province.

According to the notification issued by the Sindh government, December 25 a public holiday for Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas for all offices, autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations and local councils under its administrative control.

December 27 is a public holiday to mark the death anniversary of the former prime minister and Pakistan People’s Party leader Benazir Bhutto.

According to the notification issued, these holidays do not apply to essential services.
