Several workers have been injured after a fire erupted near Babar Kant in Karachi on Saturday (today).
As per the details, the fire erupted in a chemical factory in Karachi’s SITE area today morning.
Two workers, who were stuck on the roof of the factory, have been rescued by rescue officials.
Four fire brigade vehicles are engaged in extinguishing the fire.
Fire tenders have been called from all over the city, fire brigade officials said.
MD Water Board says that an emergency has been imposed on NIPA and Sakhi Hassan hydrants and all other tankers have been removed.
Police said that It was initially learned that a large number of WD40 sprays were present in the factory. Police also said that the intensity of the fire is high so can’t go near. Factories and warehouses adjacent to the affected factory in Karachi are being evacuated.
