Security Forces takes out a ‘High Value Target’ in South Waziristan

Pakistan Military media wing Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday informed that a high value target has been killed during an Intelligence Based Operation in South Waziristan.

According to ISPR, the security forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation on a terrorist hideout in sharwangi, Tiarza, South Waziristan.

ISPR said that during exchange of fire a high value target, Terrorist commander Nooristan alias Hasan Baba killed. The Commander was one of Pakistan’s most wanted men.

Pakistan Military media wing added in its statement that Nooristan was an IED expert and master trainer who was involved in martyrdom of more than 50 security forces personnel since 2007.

On February 12th four soldiers were martyred in a gun attack on a security forces post in Makeen, South Waziristan late last night, said ISPR.

According to the ISPR statement, the “terrorist fire raid” targeted a security post located in Makeen, South Waziristan.

‘During an intense exchange of fire, four brave soldiers embraced shahadat while repulsing raiding terrorists.’ ISPR said.

ISPR also added that Pakistani troops killed 4 terrorists. A large scale search and clearance operation was in progress in the area.
