Announcement of ECB to visit Pakistan next year is a welcome step: Fawad Chaudhry
Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) should get merged.
Addressing media in Lahore on Saturday, he criticized that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is very disappointed after failing in every attempt to achieve relief from courts or NRO.
Chaudhry added that PPP has been relegated to only Sindh while PML-N is only limited to central Punjab and JUI-F only enjoys public support in only a few districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He urged PDM leaders to take part in local government elections.
On the other hand, he appreciated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, saying the party has completed its election promise by introducing a revolutionary local government system. He said that elections will be held through direct voting in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
