International day for forests: Faisal Javed appreciates Government’s efforts for plantation

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Faisal Javed has appreciated the government’s efforts in dealing with climate change by launching the 10 Billion Trees Tsunami program.

As per the details, he took to Twitter and shared his thoughts on International Day for forests.

“ImranKhan led PTI Govt after successfully planted over a billion trees in KP surpassed its target by restoring over 350,000 hectares of
degraded forest landscapes, now planting over 10 Billion Trees across Pakistan.”

In another tweet, Faisal Javed also announced that Pakistan has overarching the United Nations’ Sustainable development goals.

“Ten years ahead of the deadline – Pakistan has also passed a crucial milestone on the road to environmental protection by meeting the overarching UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 13, which calls for urgent actions to combat climate change & its impacts.”
