PTI issues show cause notices to MPAs Aslam Abro and Shehryar Shar

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has issued show-cause notices to two of its MPAs for violating party discipline.

According to the details, PTI has issued notices to two members of the Sindh Assembly for violating party discipline.

A statement issued by the PTI said that notices have been issued to Aslam Abro and Shehryar Shar. PTI has asked MPAs to submit their reply within 7 days.

It may be recalled that during the Senate elections, Aslam Abro and Shehryar Shar had opposed voting for Saifullah Abro, saying that the decision to give him tickets was taken by Sindh Governor Imran Ismail.

Back in February the Sindh advisory council of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf demanded Prime Minister Imran Khan to remove Governor Imran Ismail for taking wrong decisions.

The demand came from certain PTI leaders whose relations with their party got further strained after the nominations of Senate candidates from Sindh.

The leaders said in the statement that the governor had failed to give any performance after assuming office and accused him of ignoring party loyalists for the Senate elections.
