The ban on the arrival of more than one visitor at Allama Iqbal International Airport will remain in place to curb the spread of the global Pandemic of coronavirus.

According to details, Civil Aviation has taken steps to prevent the spread of coronavirus at Allama Iqbal International Airport and has maintained a ban on more than one visitor at the airport.

In this regard, the Senior Additional Director has issued a letter, according to which the violation will be prosecuted under section 144.

Lahore Airport staff should strictly enforce SOPs and social distance.

The CAA has formed a task force to implement the SOPs.

Earlier, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has announced to charge those violating COVID SOPs while working on airports.

The PCAA said that it would fine staff workers found violating the COVID SOPs issued by the National Command Operation Centre (NCOC) in order to curb the rise of this deadly virus.

The notification issued said that the CAA has mentioned the names of people within the airport that have been fined so far for the range of violations.

“Those fined by the authorities for violating SOPs will have to pay the challans in the banks mentioned,” added the notification.

People will be fined up to Rs500 by the airport authorities.
