Foreign Office (FO) on Friday has said that the resolution to the Kashmir issue is imperative for durable peace and stability in the region.
According to the details, at his weekly in Islamabad, Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said that Pakistan’s stance on the Kashmir matter remains unchanged.
He said that Pakistan has always tried its best to create a peaceful environment of talks with India, however; it is India that spoiled the environment through its illegal and unilateral actions of 5th August 2019 in the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The Foreign Office spokesperson also welcomed the US Human Rights report regarding the human rights situation in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
He also informed that said the Russian Foreign Minister will pay a two-day visit to Pakistan from Tuesday. Adding that, ‘bilateral relations especially economic cooperation will be at the top on the agenda of talks between the two sides.’
