ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has notified that the prices of petrol to remain same till 30th Nov.
OGRA in its summary to petroleum division requested for an increased revision of Rs 5 to 8, which was rejected by the PM.
The notification stated that after Prime Minister Imran Khan rejected the hike in petroleum prices reference. The premier briefed OGRA to forward the sales tax regulation matter to the cabinet.
However, OGRA suggested the petrol and diesel price increase of Rs5 which was briefly rejected by the premier office.
The federal government stated that the PM procured a verdict to deliver aid to the commonalities. The prices of petroleum products have been secured by the government for 15 days.
Previously on November 5, the government increased the prices of petrol and diesel by more than Rs8 per litre, which was days after the PM Imran Khan declared a relief package for the all.
