KARACHI: Senior Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader and former Sindh governor Imran Ismail on Sunday took a dig at Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for construction a swimming pool at the cost of Rs100 million at the PM House, despite the dire economic conditions.
“Economy is something that comes and goes, but swimming pool should be safe,” Imran Ismail sarcastically wrote sharing a video of the swimming pool.
He said now “the crime minister” would plan in the swimming pool to give relief to the people.
“Lavish luxuries of the rulers on empty (national) coffers are becoming a God’s wrath on this nation,” he said.

On February 20, while addressing at Dawood University Of Engineering & Technology (DUET)’s 9th convocation at Jinnah campus in Karachi, Imran Ismail as the then Sindh governor had emphasised that with excellent education comes the responsibility of leadership.
Encouraging them to find opportunities in their homeland, Imran Ismail had asked the engineering graduates to become the pillars that Pakistan needed and entrusted them the responsibility of taking the nation forward.
“It’s time to pay back to the country which helped you to be what you are today. You should come forward and become an inspiration for others. Pakistan deserves to offer success stories to the world, which we have not been able to do over the years for one reason or another,” he had added.
