LAHORE: Using Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s famous catchphrase, Muslim League-N (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz on Thursday said the nation had said ‘absolutely not’ to the PTI and Imran.
“Specially, Punjab has absolutely rejected their politics,” Maryam Nawaz said while talking to media outside house of the constable who martyred a couple of days ago during a raid at a PTI leader’s house in Model Town, Lahore.
Constable Kamal Ahmed had received a bullet injury in his chest and later he had succumbed to his wounds at the hospital.
“Imran is responsible for the unjustified killing. The government should lodge an FIR against Imran Khan and the leader from whose house weapons were recovered,” the PML-N vice president said adding that statements of all the ministers were available who had said that it would be a bloody revolution, she maintained. One MNA was directing for arson and sabotage during the Azadi March, she said.

She said widow of the constable said they did not have a house of their own. So, the government would bear expenditures of education and health of the constable’s children, she announced.
Taking a dig at the PTI leadership, she said they still did not have an answer on their performance.
“I am happy that the nation has realised that it is anarchy and not a revolution. Their revolution hung in the air for many hours,” she said requesting Imran Khan to stay at Bani Gala and pray Allah Allah, instead of dividing the nation.
Maryam said he could not gather even 20,000 people. Their anarchy and fitna had been exposed, she said. She said the time of six days was to mitigate the humiliation and embarrassment.
She asked the SC to review its decision regarding Imran Khan’s violation of its order about holding a public gathering at D-Chowk. She said the PTI unashamedly misused resources of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
She said the IMF showed them the agreement that Imran had made with them which said that if Pakistan did not implement the agreement then it would be defaulted.
