ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shahbaz Gill, who got injured in an accident on motorway, on Thursday termed the road mishap an attempt to take his life, Bol news reported.
In a tweet, Shahbaz Gill said his car was advertently hit from behind.
“I want to tell those who attacked me. I am alive because of my Lord and the prayers of my people. My car was chased and deliberately hit. This was done under a plan.
“I just said yesterday, at most you will get us killed. Get it done. I will not betray,” he wrote.

Shahbaz Gull feared that the opponents would attack PTI Chairman Imran Khan as well.
“I stood with Khan, I am standing with him and will stand with him. I want to tell the nation today that they will also attack Khan. They will try to silence us at all costs. External conspiracy, its local handlers and traitors know that Khan and his associates will not keep quiet. Insha Allah they will expose everyone,” he said.
Earlier, the PTI leader was injured in the accident that took place on motorway on the third day of Eid-ul-Fitr. Motorway police officials had reached the spot for the rescue services.
According to details, the car of former special assistant to PM for political communication was hit by a vehicle coming from behind on the motorway because of which he got injured.
As per Shahbaz’s companion, apparently the accident was planned.
Police have started investigations into the matter.
