Shehbaz, Nawaz slam Imran Khan for using foul language against Maryam

ISLAMABAD: Condemning Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s remarks against Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday said as the head of a political party, Imran was the first person in history to fall into the abyss of rudeness.

“They went out to make a nation and spoiled the morals of the nation. ‘To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return’,” he tweeted.

The prime minister said the entire nation, especially women, should strongly condemn the deplorable language used against daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif. “Your crimes against the country and the nation cannot be hidden by the expression of low comedy. What can be expected of the honor and respect of mothers, sisters and daughters from those who do not keep honor and sanctity Masjid e Nabawi (SAWW),” he said.

Meanwhile, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif said Imran Khan had introduced the culture of rudeness in politics. He said the PML-N defeated Imran Khan in the by-election as well and would defeat him again.

He said his party was ready for the new general elections.

In his speech during PTI rally in Multan, Imran Khan asked Maryam to do not take his name with so much enthusiasm that his husband gets angry with her.

“In her speech, Maryam took my name so many times and with such an enthusiasm and obsession that I want to say to her that look Maryam, be careful, lest your spouse become cross with you for the way you take my name repeatedly,” he said.
