On Saturday morning, PTI Secretary General Asad Umar, Omar Ayub Khan and others visited the venue and reviewed arrangements.

Asad Umar said the government made all efforts to spoil the event but the authorities designated the event for public gatherings after directives from the Islamabad High Court.

He said no party has ever held a rally on such a large ground except Imran Khan. He said their team worked overnight and made the best possible arrangements. He urged all party workers to reach the venue on time.

Former interior minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed will hold a rally at his Lal Haveli residence in Rawalpindi led by his nephew Rashid Shafique before reaching the venue.
