QUETTA: Weather in the province is likely to remain partly cloudy in most districts and heavy rain is also expected, according to the Meteorological department report issued on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, heavy rain is expected at a few places in Barkhan, Sibi, Zhoob, Kalat, Awran, Khuzdar, Kech, Gwadar, and Lesbela.

The maximum temperature recorded in Quetta was 30 degrees Celsius. Gwadar, Ormara, and Pisni recorded a maximum of 33 degrees Celsius, while Jiwani recorded 32 degrees Celsius. Khuzdar recorded a maximum of 32 degrees Celsius, while Lasbella recorded 37 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature in Ziarat was 25 degrees Celsius, while in Kalat it was 27 degrees Celsius.

A maximum of 40 degrees Celsius was recorded in Nokundi and Dalbandin. The maximum temperature in Zhob was 33 degrees, while Barkhan recorded 32 degrees Celsius. In Panjgur, 36 degrees Celsius were recorded, while in Turbat, the maximum was 41 degrees Celsius. A maximum of 37 degrees Celsius was recorded in Sabi, the Meteorological Department report mentioned.

Balochistan had previously been devastated by heavy rains, with 42mm of rain recorded in Sabi, 24mm in Panjgur, 05mm in Barkhan, 18mm in Zhob, and 04mm in Dalbandin and Ormara.

In Kalat, 3 mm of rain was recorded in Quetta, Khuzdar, and Lasbela.
