LAHORE: The condition of former prime minister and Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf(PTI) Imran Khan is gradually improving and he is expected to discharge from Shaukat Khanum Hospital Lahore soon.
Sources said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan’s health is better than before and he is likely to discharge from the hospital in the next 24 to 36 hours.
Sources said that Imran Khan will undergo a medical examination by the doctor today, during which X-rays and other tests will be done once again.
It was pertinent to mention here that Chairman PTI Imran Khan was injured in an assassination attempt during the long march in Wazirabad. The PTI leaders and workers were also injured in the firing incident.
PTI worker Moazzam Nawaz was also killed during an attack on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s long march in Wazirabad.
Later, Imran Khan was shifted from the container to the vehicle and rushed to the hospital where doctors performed his surgery and removed bullet from his leg.
After the operation, Imran Khan is still undergoing treatment in Shaukat Khanum Hospital, while strict security arrangements have been made outside the hospital.
It should be noted that a suspicious person was also arrested from outside the hospital yesterday, while two suspects, Waqas and Sajid Butt, were also arrested from Wazirabad on the identification of Naveed, the main suspect.
