Fazl demands govt to strictly deal with Imran

Pakistan Democratic Movement President (PDM) and Chief Jamiat-ul-Islam (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman has demanded the federal government to show no lenience with Imran Khan and PTI and make Islamabad’s land so hot that their soles will not be able to bear it.

He added that the culprit involved in the murderous attack on Imran was caught red-handed but the prime minister, interior minister and DGC without investigation were alleged by the PTI chief.

He expressed these views when the Bol News reporter asked him during a press conference on Sunday.

Commenting on the assassination attempt on Imran, Fazl taunted that Imran lagged behind Indian Actor Shahrukh Khan in acting performance as Imran had acted marvelously following the attack.

He claimed, “Imran Khan is stuck at a dead end and now his politics is taking its last breath.”

The PDM chief said that the long march would not be allowed to enter Islamabad if they were coming with weapons and wanted bloodshed in the Capital.

“Hakeem Rana Sanaullah is fully ready to tackle the PTI marchers as he did on May 25,” he warned.

Fazl blamed that like a religious touch, Imran has now added a terrorist touch to his movement.

He further said, “Imran calls everyone a thief but he himself turn out to be the biggest thief.”

Fazl asserted that Pakistan was again being pushed towards the crisis, adding that the murderous attack was being misused for political gains.

He further said that the nation and the country were being driven toward disaster.

The PDM chief said that Imran failed in running the government, and was expelled from power through a no-confidence motion, which was a constitutional way but since then he had been creating anarchy in the country.

He further blamed that the State Bank was handed over to the IMF in his regime and the economy was destroyed by the PTI government.

He also supported the investigation into Azam Swati’s video leak issue by the Full Court.

He said, “I respect Azam Swati very much but I have no idea whether Azam Swati respects himself or not.”

Fazl said that before the investigation into senior journalist Arshad Sharif’s murder, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister must be included in the investigation.
