PM calls coalition parties meeting to review situation

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday called an important meeting of the coalition parties regarding the situation arising after the assassination attempt on the former prime minister and Chairman of PTI Imran Khan.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called an important meeting of the coalition parties at the PM House. Shehbaz Sharif will discuss the situation after the attack on Imran Khan with the leaders of the coalition parties.

During the meeting, the leaders of the coalition parties will prepare a counter narrative on the allegations leveled by the leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

It should be noted that during the long march, 13 people including Chairman PTI Imran Khan and central leaders were injured in firing on the container of Chairman PTI at Wazirabad.

According to initial reports, this incident of firing has been termed as a murderous attack on Imran Khan, in which Senator Faisal Javed has also been seriously injured while Hamid Nasir Chatha’s son Ahmed Chatta and Chaudhry Muhammad Yusuf have also been injured.

Due to the firing, Imran Khan received a bullet in his leg due to which he was injured and his surgery was performed at Shoukat Khanum Hospital, Lahore.
