QUETTA: Balochistan government has been in a severe economic crunch for the past few months and left with only 475 million in the treasury, well-informed sources said.
Due to the financial crisis in the province, many projects were being stalled and the government has also cancelled free fuel for government employees and the protocol has also been halted temporarily.
Sources informed that Chief Minister Balochistan is leaving for Islamabad in light of the recent crisis where he will request the federal government financial assistance.
CM Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo will take all the political leadership, members of the Senate and the National Assembly into confidence regarding the financial crisis.
His meeting with the Prime Minister is also expected on this trip and it was said that he will highlight the financial situation in front of the premier.
