Will keep supporting Imran Khan, says CM Pervaiz Elahi

LAHORE: The Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Pervaiz Elahi said Tuesday that he has been supporting Imran Khan and will keep standing beside him.

CM Pervaiz Elahi also termed Imran Khan as the most popular leader in Pakistan adding that his support will remain for the PTI Chairman.

He maintained that his politics is to bring progress in the life of a common man in Pakistan adding that he has been working in a pattern that will be remembered like his previous tenure.

Elahi also underscored that he never favours revenge politics like PML-N and has always established positive political traditions.

The CM also said that he always prefers teamwork.

Earlier, in a meeting with PTI leader Zartaj Gul he said that their alliance with Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is stronger than ever.

The CM asserted that the provincial government was striving to improve the quality of life of the people as public welfare is the cynosure of democratic governance.
