Court extends interim bail of Suleman Shehbaz
LAHORE: An accountability court in Lahore on Saturday extended the interim bail of Suleman Shehbaz, son of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in a money laundering case.
Suleman Shehbaz, son of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appeared before the accountability court.
The lawyer of Suleman Shehbaz has sought some time to answer the National Accountability Bureau questions.
The court told the investigation officer to submit a detailed report at the next hearing.
The court extended Suleman Shehbaz’s interim bail in the money laundering case till January 23.
Earlier, an accountability court in Lahore granted interim bail to Suleman Shehbaz, son of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a money laundering case.
The court granted him interim pre-arrest bail till January 7 against surety bonds worth Rs500,000. The court also barred NAB from arresting him.
On January 06, Supreme Court of Pakistan fixed former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s petition against amendments in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) laws for hearing on January 10.
The three-member bench, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial, will hear the petition on January 10. The three-member bench also includes Justice Ejaz-ul-Ahsan and Justice Mansoor Ali Shah.
