MWM delegation meets with Imran Khan
LAHORE: A delegation of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen (MWM) led by Allama Raja Nasir Abbas met with former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI ) chief Imran Khan at Zaman Park Lahore.
During the meeting, a delegation of the central leader of MWM reiterated PTI’s commitment to the struggle for true freedom.
In his message on Twitter, Chairman PTI Imran Khan said that the meeting with Allama Raja Nasir and the MWM delegation yesterday was fruitful.
Had an excellent meeting with Allama Raja Nasir & MWM delegation yesterday. All misunderstandings were cleared & they reiterated their commitment to our struggle for Haqeeqi Azadi. I assured them we would resolve any problems they may face in KP & Punjab.

He said that during the meeting all misunderstandings were cleared and reiterated PTI’s determination to fight for true freedom.
Imran Khan said that he has assured to remove all reservations of MWM and assured them that PTI will solve the problems MWM is facing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab.
It should be noted that MWM had announced not to give a vote of confidence to Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
In a statement, the party spokesperson said that the decision was taken after consultation with the senior leadership of the MWM. He said that the party has reservations about some of the actions of Chief Minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi.
Earlier, MPA Syeda Zahra Naqvi announced that she will not vote of confidence to the chief minister of Punjab and informed PTI leadership about her decision.
Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi is likely to take a vote of confidence from the provincial assembly next week.
