Pervaiz Elahi will take vote of confidence today

Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi will take a vote of confidence today.

Sources of the Punjab Assembly said that the PTI and Q-League members were contacted by the leadership. The numbers are in full strenth in the Punjab Assembly, a vote of confidence will be taken.

Earlier it was said that if the number of PTI and Q-League members decreases, the meeting will be adjourned, the sources added.

Meanwhile, PTI senior leaders Fawad Hussain and Farrukh Habib claimed that the PTI has completed its number.

Those who have held buy-purchase market for changing the loyalty of the members must be disappointed.

Fawad said that the Punjab CM would take a vote of confidence today.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Lahore High Court (LHC) said that the Chief Minister of Punjab Pervaiz Elahi must get sufficient time for the vote of confidence.

The remark came during the hearing of case regarding the denotification of CM Punjab and the dissolution of the Cabinet in the LHC.

The lawyer of Pervaiz Elahi said that the case has been underway in the court and they have been looking towards the judiciary.

To which the court inquired that the Governor was summoned to submit a written reply in the case, “Why it was not submitted?”

Meanwhile, the Attorney General said that the CM should have taken the vote in 2-3 days to which Justice Asim Hafiz said whether it should be considered that the CM has the confidence of the members.
