LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hasnat Shah has joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and met Fawad Chaudhry and Shah Mahmood in this regard.

PTI leaders held a presser with Hasnat Shah and welcomed the politician in their party.

PTI leaders acknowledged the decision taken by the PML-N’s leader and welcomed him and his companions to the party.

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said that Imran Khan’s leadership has served the religion globally and the FO-led by Shah Mahmood Qureshi highlighted the issue of blasphemy in front of the world.

He also said that PML-N ended in Sargodha today after Hasnat Shah parted his ways from the party.

The development emerged after PTI announced that President Arif Alvi is going to ask the premier to take a vote of confidence in the lower house.

On the other hand, PTI leaders held a presser yesterday and demanded an immediate announcement of general elections.

The leaders were addressing the presser irked by the absence of NA Speaker in his chamber when the party leaders reached there for the verification of pending resignations.

PTI leaders were of the view that the Speaker has shown that he is not the custodian of the House and is not capable of sitting there.
