LAKKI MARWAT: An operation has been launched by the Lakki Marwat police and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and six terrorists were killed.

According to the details, the police have received a confirmed information that terrorists involved in various bomb attacks and terror incidents are present in the area of Dadiwala police station and planning to attack Chowki Abbasa, on which the team of Lakki Marwat Police and CTD Bannu took action.

The terrorists opened fire on the forces and upon retaliation six terrorists were killed by the security forces.

The exchange of fire continued for a long time and later the personnel found the dead terrorists along with loaded weapons, ammunition and grenades.

The killed terrorists were wanted by the Lakki Marwat police and CTD in connection with attacks on police and other terror incidents.

Earlier, the CTD arrested a large network of terrorists during a grand operation. As per details, a grand operation was conducted against terrorist extortionists by the Anti-Terrorism Department of Peshawar Region to prevent terrorism financing and a large number of terrorists involved in extortion were arrested at Tela Band.
