KARACHI: Khawaja Sohail Mansoor, a former member of the National Assembly belonging to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM-P) Pakistan, announced his formal joining of the Pakistan People’s Party on Sunday.

Khawaja Sohail Mansoor while addressing a press conference along with Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders during which he joined the Pakistan People’s Party.

Provincial Minister of Labor and Manpower Sindh Saeed Ghani welcomed Khawaja Sohail for joining PPP and said with his entry, the party will be stronger in Karachi. Khawaja Sohail Mansoor remained the MNA of MQM in the past.

On the other hand, People’s Party leader Waqar Mehdi said that with the inclusion of Khawaja Sohail, PPP will become stronger in Karachi and we will work together for the development and peace of the city.

On this occasion, former MNA Khawaja Sohail Mansoor said that he is grateful to the PPP for trusting him and hoped that PPP will make Karachi a city of lights again. He said PPP has made sacrifices for the country.

It should be noted that a few years ago, Khawaja Sohail Mansoor resigned from the National Assembly membership as well as the coordination committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM).
