Four dead bodies recovered from house in Lodhran

LODHRAN: Four mutilated bodies of the same family were recovered from a house in Gulshan Madina Colony in Lodhran, Bol News reported.

Residents of the neighborhood informed the police about a strong stench emanating from the house. Police reached the spot and recovered four decomposed bodies.

The deceased belonged to the same family including a mother, a daughter and two sons. They were identified as Ruqaiya Bibi, wife of Sagar Abbas, her daughter Ghous Fatima, aged 18, and sons Anas and Fawad, aged 17 and 16.

SDPO President and SHO Police Station City reached the spot and recovered three dead bodies from the lower portion of the house and one from the upper floor and sealed the area.

Police said the family’s 14-year-old son has been taken into custody and transferred to an unknown place for investigation. Police said the father Sagar Abbas is absconding and will be arrested.

Police said the motive for the murder has not yet been ascertained. They said the murder weapon has also not been found.

Police said further information will be revealed after the autopsy report is released. The initial post-mortem report said the bodies were around one week old.

Sources revealed that Sagar Abbas is working as a gangster.  He came to Lodhran eight months ago from Jalalpur Parwala and bought a house worth Rs8.5 million. Police said locals are worried and there is an element of fear in the area.
