KARACHI: The investigation into the terrorist attack on Karachi Police Office (KPO) revealed Indian involvement as evidence has surfaced.

As per details, evidence of the joint action of various anti-national parties related to the attack on the Karachi Police Office has been found.

The investigative sources have said that at the time of the attack, nearly 25 people were present in the office and statements of all those have been recorded.

The probe into the matter disclosed that the militants entered the building and disabled the elevator first.

When the terrorists started shooting, most of the people were on the first floor and then ran toward the second floor of the building.

The militants opened fire on the doors while pretending to be police and shouted for the staff hiding in the rooms to come out.

Sources said that the evidence and investigation proved that the plan was provided by banned TTP and ammunition by “RAW”.

Meanwhile, the bomb disposable squad said that there is a similarity between the suicide jackets used in the KPO attack and the suicide blast at Karachi University. The explosive material recovered from the jackets found in the KPO attack is suspected to be RDX.

According to the sources, commercially made explosives have been used in both attacks, but the total weight of the two jackets defused in the KPO attack was between six and seven kilograms.

Notably, the outlawed Baloch Liberation Army was involved in the university attack, while the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has claimed responsibility for the KPO attack.
