PDM leadership maligning Supreme Court judges, says Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday said the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leadership was maligning the Supreme Court judges, Bol News reported.
In a tweet, Imran Khan said the PDM and Pakistan Muslim League-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz were attacking the top court judges to flee from elections. He said they were damaging the federation.
“Shameless & calculated attacks on SC judges by PDM & spoilt brat Maryam, nurtured on corruption money, have one purpose only – to run away from elections even by violating Constitution. By attacking the SCP, they are damaging the Federation & ensuring law of jungle prevails in Pak,” he tweeted.
Imran Khan said earlier the PDM leadership had been challenging the PTI to dissolve the assemblies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab to hold elections and when the PTI had done so, they were petrified of the polls.
“PDM leadership seen challenging us to dissolve KP & Punjab assemblies if we want elections! Now, when confronted, they are petrified of elections knowing they will be decimated. So they are maligning the SC judges & are ready to violate the Constitution to avoid elections,” he tweeted sharing a video of the leaders of the coalition government.
ON February 22, Imran Khan had said the Jail Bahro Tehreek had been kicked off and was an extension of the Haqiqi Azadi movement against the government.
In a video address to the nation, the PTI chief had said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had said the nation should be prepared for new wave of inflation in the country.
He had reminded the prime minister of the statements in the past against the PTI government and the long marches against them. “This is the era of social media. You should remember your statements against inflation when we were in power,” he had said.
He had said Shehbaz Sharif was part of the conspiracy to bring down his government. “Shehbaz, Zardari, and Bajwa conspired to bring my government,” he had said.
He had said the PTI government was also part of the IMF programme but inflation was 12 percent. He had added that price of electricity, petrol, and other commodities increased three-fold and the dollar went up by Rs100 in the past few months.
